When Cities Pray

Have you ever wondered whether there is a pathway for building a city movement — one that reflects what leaders are learning globally, yet can be adapted and practiced locally in your own city?

Over the past year, many of you joined our Continental Deep Dives, where we listened to experienced city movement leaders from six continents. Again and again, one theme surfaced: trust. As José Durán reminded us — trust, trust, trust.

Those conversations helped shape the TRUST Pathway — a framework for understanding how collaborative city movements can begin, grow, mature, and multiply. Over the next nine months, our global gatherings will go deeper, inviting experienced practitioners and cross-continental panels to explore the pathway's five stages and four ongoing practices — not simply as a framework to study, but as a journey to practice in our cities.

We are delighted to welcome Tom White, Founder of City Advance, who has led 900+ Leaders Prayer Summits in cities around the world since 1991. Tom and a cross-continental panel will explore how prayer can deepen relationships, build trust, foster reconciliation, and move leaders from isolated activity toward sustained citywide collaboration.
