Trust Pathway Gathering #2 · 24 September 2026

Who Will Lead Next?

Strengthening and releasing the next generation for city movements.

City movements need more than strong leaders today. They need a diverse next generation — trusted, strengthened, empowered, and released to lead.

Who will lead our city movements next? Leaders from Asia, Australia, and the global city-movement community gathered for a conversation about strengthening, trusting, and releasing the next generation of collaborative leaders.

Together we explored what established leaders and movements must do differently today if a diverse new generation is going to carry city movements tomorrow.

An ongoing practice — Strengthening

Strengthening runs through the whole TRUST Pathway — not a final stage after Transfer, but an ongoing practice of reducing isolation, mentoring, and releasing leaders at every step. This gathering focuses there: on strengthening and releasing the next generation.

Who Will Lead Next? — Trust Pathway Gathering #2, with Mac Pier, Mark Visvasam, Kavitha Emmanuel, and Steve Scrimgeour, Thursday 24 September, 6:00 PM Dubai (GMT+4)

This was the second gathering in our TRUST Pathway season — following When Cities Pray, where we began with prayer. Where prayer builds trust, strengthening keeps leaders in the journey for the long haul, and releases new ones to lead. Next up: How Will Our Cities Hear?, on witness.

What must we do differently today if we want a diverse new generation of leaders ready to carry city movements tomorrow?
